The Creative Process is the series of steps artists use when they create a work of art - these steps help artists to come up with ideas for their art, and then develop those ideas into a finished, professional work of art.

The creative process requires skills that help us to solve problems. This includes analyzing and evaluating information that is provided, whether that information is through observation, experience or communication. Questioning is the most important part of the creative process. It is not only an important skill for artists to possess; it is also an important part of scientific, mathematical, historical, economic and philosophical thinking, all of which are necessary for the future development of our society.
